Four new measures of special public security surveillance were issued by the Court of Catanzaro – second criminal section – on the proposal of the Quaestor, at the end of accurate investigations conducted by the Prevention Measures section of the Anti -Crime Police Division.

Montepaone: a 64 year old and the obsession that does not end
Among the recipients of the measure there is a 64 -year -old man, residing in Montepaone, whose long sentimental relationship has turned over time into a spiral of violence. The persecutory conduct – started during the relationship and continue even after the end – have become a nightmare for his former partner. Serious threats, insults, physical attacks: a constant and invasive presence that has exceeded all tolerability limit.
Soverato: two violent men under observation
Two other measures affect two men of Soverato, respectively 29 and 47 years old, held responsible for serious mistreatment towards their cohabiting companions. According to what was reconstructed by the police, the two would have implemented an escalation of violence: threats, humiliations, physical aggressions repeated over time, up to compromising the psychophysical health of the victims.
Catanzaro: a young man and the fury post breakage
The fourth measure was issued against a 30 -year -old Catanzaro, protagonist of a sentimental relationship marked by violence and culminated in persecutory acts even after separation. As in the case of the 64 -year -old from Montepaone, the end of the report did not marry the end of fear for the victim, forced to live with threats and continuous intrusions in one’s life.
The special surveillance measures, each lasting three years, impose the recipients: the ban on approaching the victims and places frequented by these; the prohibition of communication with the victims, through any means, including mail, telephone or social media; the obligation to present itself twice a week to the State Police; the withdrawal of documents valid for expatriation.
