Marc Marquez, riding the Ducati, won the Sprint race of the Brazilian GP, the second stage of the MotoGP World Championship. On the Goiania circuit, the Spaniard preceded Fabio Di Giannantonio, with the Ducati VR46, and the Aprilias of Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi, third and fourth respectively.
Sprint race decided ahead of Di Giannantonio and the Aprilias
The Brazilian Sprint thus rewarded Marquez, who took home the victory in the second stage of the season, ahead of Di Giannantonio and the Aprilia duo formed by Martin and Bezzecchi.
Over an hour late due to a pothole on the asphalt
The race started more than an hour later than expected, to allow for the closure of a hole that had formed in the asphalt on the main straight. An inconvenience that also caused the postponement of qualifying for the Moto3 and Moto2 classes, with the latter scheduled for tomorrow.
