For the moment, no official replies have been received from the new Administration to Paolo Mascaro after Monday’s press conference, but it is probable that the long speech by the former mayor, held together with the former budget councilor Sandro Zaffina, was at least given due attention. Even drier is the question of the “free cash” which would amount to 7 million but which are always anchored to the relevant budget chapters. An initial response arrived on the social channels of councilor Mimmo Gianturco – who in the old council sat in the opposition – who, taking up a passage in which he is quoted by Mascaro, cuts the subject short: «Those who preceded us will also have been smart not to leave the money for bituminizing the roads, so as not to let the new administration spend it.
