«The mayor allowed himself to do what he did because he has already done it and because he has always been allowed to. I recalled this in the City Council”, states Saverio Pazzano, who highlights how “what has happened in recent days had already happened: unilateral, sudden decisions, taken without any democratic discussion and with the arbitrary interruption of an administrative path which, although mediocre, had its usefulness in the continuity of the measures, the works, the initiatives that require to be followed by those who started them. Two years ago the same thing happened again. There was a “tide”, as they called it, and a surreal session in which the Mayor read a book while his majority was absent. Today we find ourselves faced with yet another penultimatum, which however has a different weight. For this reason we return to express our position: a position of no confidence, not linked to the elimination or otherwise of the Council, but to the entire administrative action of these years. Today the presence in the council of a declared center-right exponent does not surprise us.”
