The debate on the new Catanzaro hospital is enriched with new contributions. Domenico Tallini, former president of the Regional Council, anticipates the conclusions being reached by an (unspecified, ndc) team of experts and technicians who for weeks have been working voluntarily on the cost-benefit analysis of the two options on the table: the regeneration of the “Pugliese-Ciaccio” garrison or the construction of a new platform in the area of ​​the Polyclinic in Germaneto. According to what Tallini himself illustrated, the complete document, accompanied by graphic representations, will be officially presented to the president of the Region, the commissioner for hospital construction, the mayor of Catanzaro, the president of the Province and the commissioner of the “Dulbecco” company.
In the meantime, however, his thesis is clear: Germaneto is not the right solution. The area on which the Campus and Polyclinic are located, explains the former president, is alluvial and is located at the convergence of two torrential streams, classified as having a high hydraulic risk.
