Good news arrives for the citizens of Nizza di Sicilia: the regional energy department and public utility services of the Sicilian Region has signed the decree for the provision of An extraordinary contribution of 400 thousand euros intended for the purchase of a deriving system for the treatment of water.
The resources, allocated thanks to an amendment by the 5 Star Movement Deputy Antonio De Luca in the last financial maneuver to Ars, will allow to improve the quality of drinking water in the Ionian municipality, after recent analyzes had detected levels of arsenic above the legal limits.
“I am satisfied with this result, the result of months of work – said De Luca -. The purchase of the system was necessary to guarantee citizens safer water. I thank the city councilor M5S Domenico Santisi for the collaboration with the local administration “.
The deputy also announced the next objective: the realization of the consortium purifier, for which 4.5 million euros promised by the President of the Region Renato Schifani are expected.
