The oil tanker 'Andromeda Star' was damaged after being targeted twice with multiple missiles off the coast of Yemen, in the latest attack in the Red Sea claimed by the Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi group. In the first attack, the ship “suffered an explosion in the vicinity of the vessel which was felt by the crew on board,” the UK safety agency Maritime Trade Operations (Ukmto) said. “The second attack with two missiles caused damage.” The vessel is currently registered in the Seychelles and “was en route from Primorsk, Russia, to Vadinar, India”.
