Another 24 hours of waiting, then the permanent technical-political table designed by governor Renato Schifani will begin to take shape to ferry the regional executive from the archived quater maneuver to the next Stability law, which according to what transpires from Palazzo d’Orleans should exceed the billion euros reached in 2024 by 100 million, in anticipation of greater revenues and so as to avoid more changes during the year.
Between tomorrow and Wednesday, the centre-right parties will indicate to the President of the Region the names chosen for the task force that will have to build the framework of the Budget, avoiding the tensions registered in the centre-right during the latest budget changes.
Particular attention will be paid to economic policies to support families and businesses and to the reduction of labor costs, without forgetting the government measures targeted by the snipers at the Ars and removed from the quater. Like southern working, the incentive intended for companies active across the Strait to encourage working from home and bring back emigrant Sicilians, with an allocation that could exceed the 20 million initially expected. But the publishing fund, company lakes and resources for the constituencies of deputies should also be included in the game, to be used strictly for large-scale interventions.
What is certain is that the approximately one hundred million euros canceled by secret vote in the last maneuver will not return through the window of the Budget, because they have now gone into the economy: a missed opportunity, which would have freed up as much liquidity for other measures.
