Pd: Veltroni and Bonaccini with reformists in Turin. And there is also Gabrielli

A «Back to the Future» for Walter Veltroni. The first secretary of the Democratic Party returns to Turin, the city that saw the birth of the Dems with the historic Lingotto speech of 2007. He does so, this time, as a “guest” of the security initiative organized by Stefano Bonaccini and an important part of the party’s reformist galaxy.

But not only that: together with Veltroni and Bonaccini there will be Franco Gabrielli, former Chief of Police indicated by many as a potential candidate in the coalition primaries (he, for the moment, is withdrawing), provided that the consultation takes place. There are many names of exponents of the reformist wing of the Dem. From Antonio Decaro to Michele De Pascale; from Piero De Luca to Eugenio Giani. And then, to introduce the works, the mayor of Turin Stefano Lo Russo and the Democratic Party senator Alessandro Alfieri. A reformist audience that returns to its origins precisely at the moment in which some exponents of the “hard core” of that same area leave the party, such as Elisabetta Gualmini and Marianna Madia, while others are “leaving”, such as Graziano Delrio and Pina Picierno.
