During the morning of 14 September, in Petilia Policastro, the soldiers of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the local Carabinieri Company released a 45-year-old local man, already known to the police, held responsible for the crimes of cultivation and possession for the purpose of dealing in narcotic substances. The police, following a house search carried out on their own initiative, discovered a real home cultivation on the balcony of the man’s home. Specifically, two Indian hemp plants, approximately 150 centimeters tall, tended inside some pots, were identified and seized. During the search activities inside the building, the military also found a small quantity of narcotic substance of the Marijuana type. What was discovered was immediately seized and made available to the competent judicial authority.
