Little Chiara Mammola was only 5 years old, a beautiful little girl, with long curls, always smiling and affectionate. He received his final farewell yesterday, in a packed cathedral. All of Polistena stopped on the day of tears. The municipal administration led by mayor Michele Tripodi, interpreting the common sense of solidarity and suffering, proclaimed city mourning in conjunction with the funeral. An astonished city, in respectful silence since Wednesday evening, when a cruel fate tore little Chiara away from her loved ones.
