The order banning slide “0” in the port of Villa was issued a few days ago. The act, signed by Francesco Rizzo, extraordinary commissioner of the Strait Port System Authority, is part of the structural rehabilitation project of the slide whose execution, at the time, had been awarded to the company Silem srl (and financed by resources that were channeled under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan).
To carry out these works it was necessary, among other things – as already communicated – the relocation to Reggio Calabria of the ferry service between Villa San Giovanni and Messina which is operated by Bluferries. All with an expected time of sixty days.
