As part of the prevention and contrast to crime, the Quaestor of Catanzaro issued five aggravated oral notices against five people residing in Catanzaro and its province.
Among the recipients of the provision two women, one resident in Borgia and the other in Gizzeria, with criminal records for crimes of detention of drugs for the purpose of dealing and burdened by a final sentence by the Court of Catanzaro, for non -culpable crimes, which became irrevocable in February 2025.
The other three recipients are three men, residing in Catanzaro, with numerous criminal records of various kinds, including detention of narcotic substances for the purpose of drug dealing, receiving and illegal possession of weapons, violence and threat to public officials. For two subjects, the final sentence of the Court of Catanzaro, for non -culpable crimes, became irrevocable last March, and for the third in 2016.
To the results of the preliminary activity of the Anti -Crime Police Division, the Quaestor of Catanzaro, as the Provincial Public Security Authority, adopted a personal prevention measure against the five people in the aggravated form of the oral notice, pursuant to article 3 of the anti -mafia code. The provision requires specific restrictions on recipients, with the aim of dissuading them from persisting in criminal conduct and protecting public safety.
In the event of reiteration of the crimes and compliance with the provision, which is sanctioned with a sentence in prison up to three years and with the seizure of the things or means of the means used, the commissioner can propose the special surveillance measures of public security for the transgressors to the court.
The prevention measures are part of the broader framework of preventive activities of the delinquent phenomena of the Catanzaro Police Headquarters, aimed at reducing the risk of recurrence and protecting the safety of citizens, preventing subjects with a serious criminal past can continue to constitute a threat to the community.
