First, decisive verdict from the Raccuja polls for the local elections of 24 and 25 May 2026. There is the reconfirmation of Ivan Martella as mayor.

Exceeding the quorum

In the small Nebroid centre, where the electoral challenge is linked to exceeding the quorum due to the presence of a single list, the threshold of 50.0% of voters was officially reached and exceeded in the late afternoon of the first day of voting.

According to real-time monitoring data updated at 6.33 pm, 379 voters out of the 758 total registered voters expressed their preference (from which, as required by current legislation, residents abroad registered with AIRE are excluded). The exact minimum threshold necessary to make the election valid has therefore been reached.

Section data and voting trends

However, the turnout trend shows a different trend between the two seats into which the municipal territory is divided: Section 1: It drove the overall figure with 244 voters, recording a turnout of 56.4%. In section 2: Slower, with 135 voters and a percentage that stands at 41.5%. Today at 12 141 people had voted with a percentage of 18.6% while now the figure has reached 379 with a percentage of 50%.

The next electoral steps

With the structural quorum now secured, attention now shifts to the completion of the voting operations (which will continue tomorrow, Monday 25 May) and the subsequent ballot, useful for verifying the achievement of the second quorum required by law: that of valid votes in favor of the mayoral candidate and the associated list.
