Reggina in Lotito is already a national case, Malagò jokes: “It doesn’t leave me alone with the Bari problem”

Claudio Lotito’s Reggina is already a national case. The purchase of the Amaranth club by the Roman entrepreneur, former owner of Lazio, strengthens the timeshare front, a phenomenon for which Italian football has issued regulations that aim to make it disappear. A fact which, in reality, is not yet official, although the transfer of the Amaranth club to the Roman entrepreneur is something that is expected to be announced at any moment.

The topic on the FIGC table

The topic has already been submitted, immediately after the election, to the newly elected FIGC president Giovanni Malagò. The situation is stormy especially in Bari, where the square is on a war footing with the De Laurentiis ownership (the same as Napoli).

“Lotito – joked Malagò – came to meet me and was very generous” underlining the fact that he chose to add to the “problem of Bari and De Laurentiis”.

The word “problem” does not escape careful observers.

The joke of the new federal president

The timeshare issue does not seem to be a priority in Malagò’s program and this means that in a year from now Reggina – in the event of promotion to Serie C – would have to think of a different solution than Lotito. Unless some regulatory change occurs and we know that everything can change.
