This morning, around 9.15 am, a spectacular road accident occurred in the Gallina hamlet. A woman, for reasons still being investigated, lost control of her vehicle and, after traveling along a stretch of platform covered by vegetation, fell into an embankment below. According to initial reconstructions, following the fractures reported, the unfortunate woman, a 65-year-old local woman, was unable to alert emergency services and was found only a few hours later. Both the firefighters then intervened on site to recover the small car involved in the accident, and the 118 service. The Local Police, alerted around 1.45 pm, is proceeding with the investigations of the case in order to reconstruct the spectacular dynamics.
The driver was hospitalized at Gom with presumed multiple fractures but her life is not in danger.
