Operational meeting at Palazzo San Giorgio for the start of the construction site of the Maritime Museum. A fruitful meeting in which the mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà took part, with the Councilor for Planning, delegated for the realization of the work, Carmelo Romeo, the Councilor for Major Works Franco Costantino who, together with the managers of the municipal technical offices, met Vito Barozzi sole director of Cobar and the construction manager Mauro Cuocci.
«After the preparatory activities of these months, the war checks and the surveys, we are quickly approaching the construction site phase of the work – said the mayor – the Cobar company has shown that it has clear ideas and it is evident that it he is a solid and precise interlocutor. A truly important prerequisite for starting a work that requires significant operational capacity during the implementation phase.”
As clarified by councilor Romeo: «With the mayor and with the working group of the Museo del Mare we hosted the engineers of Cobar, the company that was awarded the contract, with the Invitalia procedure, for the construction of this a work that for us, and for the entire Region, will represent a flagship and an economic, cultural and social driving force for its impact on the territory. During the meeting, further steps forward were made: the construction site will start in November with lot zero and the preparatory works for the construction of the buildings. The first step will be the creation of sea protection works.”
