The construction site is proceeding at a rapid pace. It’s been going on like this since May. The pillars and beams have been created, the body begins to take shape. The goal is to complete the first tranche of work by the end of 2025. A truly ambitious challenge. Some intermediate deadlines have been reached, such as that of the check-in area. But the accumulated delays need to be made up for. To see the new “Tito Minniti” terminal completed, we will have to wait a little longer. The information panels that surround an area of the construction site indicate the steps: the delivery date of the first section is scheduled for December 12th, the new boarding hall with 5 gates, for a volume of 1280 square meters, must be completed.
The next deadlines are spread over 2026. But a definitive date is not yet indicated, not even on the construction site sign. Maximum confidentiality applies in the Sacal household, the administrator of Sacal, Marco Franchini, makes no statements.
