On 26 and 27 September 2026, due to scheduled infrastructural maintenance works in the Catania Acquicella station, from 7 am to 1 pm, the regional trains of the Messina-Syracuse, Palermo-Catania and Caltagirone-Catania lines will undergo timetable changes, partial cancellations and replacements with buses. Changes to services may also occur before the start or after the end of the scheduled work time.

The buses stop in the squares in front of the stations with the exception of Guardia Mangano, in via Paluzza 20; Giarre, in Corso Italia 323; Fiumefreddo, in via Regina del Cielo 2; Letojanni, in via Nazionale 1; Sant’Alessio, in via Consolare Valeria 252; Santa Teresa di Riva, in the Q8 service area along the A18 (direction Messina only); Roccalumera, in Viale dell’Unità d’Italia e delle Regioni d’Italia (bus stalls in front of numbers 20-22); Alì Terme, in via Francesco Crispi 180; Messina, in Piazza della Repubblica 41; Grammichele, in via G. Gentile 5.
