Even the first projections of the Opinio Italia consortium for Rai outline an already very clear electoral picture in the three regions voting. With still limited coverage – 5% of the sample – clear trends emerge Puglia, Campania and Veneto, with their respective candidates in the lead and significantly ahead of their opponents.

Puglia: Decaro towards a very large victory

In Puglia, the centre-left candidate Antonio Decaro obtains, according to the very first projections, the 69.2% of the votes, distancing the centre-right candidate Luigi Lobuono, stopped at 28.8%. The civic candidate Anna Donno from the list “Pacifist and popular Puglia” stands at1.2%. A margin which, if confirmed, would constitute one of the largest victories of the electoral cycle.

Campania: Fico has a clear advantage

In Campania, the centre-left candidate Roberto Fico drives with the 59.5%, while the centre-right candidate Edmondo Cirielli reaches the 35.3%. Giuliano Granato, an expression of the alternative area, is al 3.2%. Here too, the initial trends seem to indicate a solid consensus for the center-left.

Veneto: Stefani dominates the scene

Opposite situation in Veneto, where the center-right is clearly ahead. The candidate Alberto Stefani is at 60.5%, while the centre-left candidate Giovanni Manildo is attested to 30.8%. Third position for Riccardo Szumski, al 6.6%. A picture that would confirm the continuity of the centre-right’s leadership in the region.

Exit poll

The centre-right candidate Alberto Stefani between 59 and 63%, the centre-left candidate Giovanni Manildo between 30 and 34%. This is what the first exit polls of the Opinio Italia Consortium for Rai for the Veneto Region show.

In Campania the centre-left candidate Roberto Fico is between 56.5% and 60.5% and the centre-right candidate Edmondo Cirielli between 35% and 39%.

Antonio Decaro, the center-left candidate, stands between 64 and 68% against 30-34% of the center-right challenger, Luigi Lobuono.
