The fifth edition of the Salone DeGusto, held this year in Catanzaro, confirmed the event as one of the most important events in the Center-South dedicated to food and wine and culinary innovation. Record numbers, quality of exhibitors and great public participation have made the event a success recognized at national and international level.
The organizers of Cosenza Eventi, led by Antonella Francesca and Salvatore, together with the whole team, were able to create an edition that attracted the attention of the media and sector operators. It is no coincidence that Tg5 also dedicated a special report, broadcast this morning, which enthusiastically described the atmosphere and contents of the fair.
DeGusto confirms itself as a constantly growing fair, capable of proposing new ideas and moments of discussion every year. Thematic talks, notable guests and spaces dedicated to innovation enriched the programme, making the event a point of reference for producers, buyers and enthusiasts.
Great credit goes to the involvement of associations and institutions:
Conpait and FIC brought the contribution of cooking and pastry professionals.
The SCA semi-finals on coffee added an international and competitive touch. The support of institutional partners is fundamental: Arsac, Municipality of Catanzaro, Confartigianato Calabria and numerous other entities that believed in the project.
Among the most significant moments, the presence of foreign buyers from Brazil, Croatia, the United Arab Emirates and Australia for example, who were fascinated by the quality of Calabrian and Italian products. A strong signal of the Show’s ability to open up to global markets and promote local excellence beyond borders.
Over 140 exhibitors animated the fair spaces, with thousands of visitors crowding the stands. The participation of Calabrian schools is particularly significant, a sign of an involvement that looks to the future and the education of new generations.
The outcome of this fifth edition is more than positive: enthusiasm, participation and recognition have laid the foundations for further growth. The organizers are already working on the next edition, with the aim of making DeGusto increasingly a hub of taste and innovation in the Centre-South.
