The first away win of the championship allows Cosenza to bring the rest of the contenders closer to salvation. The rossoblù had an excellent first half against Reggiana and only suffered in the last minutes of the second.

The match goal was scored by Ricciardi, his second consecutive goal. The Roman winger sent Florenzi’s cross diagonally behind Bardi and headed by Strizzolo. Before taking the lead, the Wolves could strike on three other occasions, the first with Ricciardi himself and in two other cases with Florenzi.
Reggiana only tried to shake things up in the second half but their best attempt in full injury time crashed against the crossbar, hit by the former Meroni following a cross from Vergara.
