A peaceful event is underway, promoted by a spontaneous committee of free citizens, to solicit the competent institutions and bodies to activate to intervene for the Removal of the landslide that still insists in Palostrico and for the consequent reopening to the vehicular transit of the provincial road SP56.
The Committee, also composed by Francesco Saija, Paolo Felice and Giuseppe Chillè, was established following the inconveniences inevitably caused by the closure of the artery. In addition to a large group of residents, the mayor Nino Cirino, his deputy Pippo Saija and the municipal police are present. On the restoration of the landslide along the provincial road SP56 near the Pickle, the mayor Nino Cirino, in recent days, went to the headquarters of the metropolitan city of Messina to encourage the procedural process, preparatory at the beginning of the works necessary to free the road. The first citizen had however been ensured the regular performance of the procedures necessary for the interventions. The provincial councilor Libero Giovani, who presented a question to the Metropolitan mayor, was also interested in the delicate affair, always in recent days.
