A suggestive journey between eras and fundamental figures of history and spirituality was staged by the pupils of the 5th A and 5th B classes of the Comprehensive Institute Alighieri-Bandiera of San Giovanni in Fiore, directed by the manager Loredana Lamacchia. The initiative is part of the educational project “The world we would like”, conceived and led by the referent Gaetana Mascaro with the contribution of the teachers Teresa Stambene, Franca Durante, Antonietta Nicoletti, Francesco Fiore and Serafina Pulice.

The show, set in the premises of the International Center of Studies Gioachimiti, has featured emblematic characters such as San Paolo, Gioacchino da Fiore, Costanza d’Altavilla, Dante Alighieri, Beatrice and San Francesco d’Assisi, giving life to a narration that has been able to merge historical research, school commitment and reflection on the present.

The theatrical work, the result of an in -depth study and a careful preparation, was interpreted brilliantly by Ilenia Alessio, Giuseppe Bitonti, Cristopher Candalice, Giada Chiodo, Giovanni Cocciolo, Alessia Ferrarelli, Francesco Loria (in the role of Gioacchino da Fiore), Mattia Mancina, Emily Marie Marra (Costanza d’Altavilla), Giovanni Battista Mazzei (San Francesco), Miriam Oliverio). (Beatrice), Serena Saccomanno, Caterina Straface, Andrea Venuro, Greta Angotti (L’Angelo), Vincenzo Basile (Dante), Davide Bonasso, Gaia Costantino, Irene Ferrari, Rosario Ierardi, Antonio Leone, Mikhael Marra, Manuel Succurro, Noemi Torchia and Matteo Vizza (San Paolo).

The initiative represented not only a training experience for students, but also a concrete sign of the attention of the school world towards the thought of Gioacchino da Fiore, in line with the purposes promoted by the Center itself.
