Serious road accident in the afternoon on the State Road 106 in the municipality of Roccella Jonica. The accident occurred on the southern outskirts of the town, along state road 106, involving a car and a motorcycle. According to initial information, it seems that the car was turning when the collision occurred, but it will be up to the local Carabinieri to establish the exact dynamics of the incident. The man on the motorcycle was the one who fared the worst, suffering serious injuries as a result of the impact.
An ambulance from 118 promptly arrived at the scene of the accident, and its medical workers provided first aid to the motorcyclist, subsequently transporting him to the hospital.
