Eleven people have been hospitalized after a large fire broke out in a residential building in London which resulted in the evacuation of 130 residents, according to firefighters. The fire broke out in a five-storey terraced house converted into several apartments in the exclusive neighborhood of South Kensington, near the Natural History Museum. “Eleven people were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital,” said the London Fire Brigade, which sent fifteen vehicles and 100 people to the scene. Additionally, 130 residents of that property and nearby properties were evacuated for safety. «The fire spread from the ground floor to the attic and roof. Crews are working hard to contain it and prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings,” said station chief Steve Collins.
