On the pitch already certain of qualifying for the semi-finals, Jannik Sinner closes the Green group at the ATP Finals in Turin with a victory (the third out of three matches): in the evening match on the fast indoor Pala Alpitour, the Italian beat Holger Rune in three sets 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 after 2h32′ of play, beating the Dane for the first time in his career and also a favor to Novak Djokovic. Sinner, in fact, goes first in the group with three victories out of three and also qualifies the Serbian for the semi-final. To know the crossroads, however, we have to wait for the last round of the Red group: already in the semifinal Medvedev, the other pass is played by Alcaraz (expected by the match with the 27-year-old Muscovite) and Zverev (who will challenge Rublev). He is the first Italian to reach the semi-finals in 54 years!
