“Yesterday somehow we managed to finish the day, this night I barely slept at all because when you’re in the middle of the match it’s not easy to rest.” These are the words of Jannik Sinner, in the on-court interview, after his success over Daniil Medvedev in the semi-final of the 2026 Internazionali d’Italia. “We’ll see what happens tomorrow, I’m very happy. This is a very special field for me, here I won my first match in the 1000m and last year the final didn’t go the way I wanted. Tomorrow I’ll try to give my best”, adds Sinner in view of the challenge against Casper Ruud for the title at the Foro Italic.
