Sunday 1 June 2025, at 6 pm in Soverato, Corso Umberto will turn into the stage of a very sweet and record event: the second edition of the “Guinness Cake”, the initiative that aims to make the longest fruit cake in the world.
After the success of last year, with an incredible milestone of 114 meters of sweetness, this year’s goal is even more ambitious: exceeding 130 meters.
To collect the challenge will be eight renowned pastry shops of Soverato: Morè, Dolce Mania, Venturino, Olimpia, sweet thoughts, Perri and hearts of Crema, who will combine talent and passion to give the public a unique experience and, hopefully, from record.
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Soverato in collaboration with the Municipality of Soverato and promises to be a moment of great city participation, with sweetness, artist art and spirit of community absolute protagonists.
Everyone is invited to participate and enjoy a piece of history together … and cake!
