A theft was carried out at the Upim in Squillace Lido, in the Impise area, on the old state road 106. It seems that the thieves entered the shopping centre, which also houses a supermarket, from the back of the shop on the inland side. Once inside, the unknown criminals stole the money contained in the boxes. The theft apparently occurred during the night between Thursday and Friday. The police arrived on site and started investigations. Help for investigators could come from viewing the images taken by surveillance cameras. The store has been in operation for a few months, having been inaugurated last June.
