The 10th edition of Swell, the ASC Calabria event which from 28 to 31 May enlivened the Serenè Village in Marina di Cutro, ended with sport, entertainment and great participation, confirming itself as one of the most awaited events on the sporting scene in Southern Italy.

Four intense days dedicated not only to youth football with the Oradom Cup, but also to fitness, wellness and entertainment, in a now consolidated format capable of combining sporting activities, moments of aggregation and entertainment within a unique setting.

Important numbers also for this tenth edition, which saw the participation of clubs from Calabria, Sicily, Lazio, Campania and Malta and beyond, testifying to the constant growth of an event born ten years ago and which has now become a point of reference in the national sporting panorama.

On the sporting front, great enthusiasm for the Oradom Cup finals which decreed the winners of the different categories. In Piccoli Amici 2017 it was Real Cosenza who raised the cup to the sky, protagonist of a convincing path that culminated with the final victory. In the 2015 Pulcini, however, Crotone prevailed with authority, beating Lazio in the final with a score of 5-1. Crotone is still on top in the 2013 9-a-side debutants category, where the rossoblù got the better of Real Bagnara, confirming quality and continuity of performance.

Not just races and rankings. Swell

Great participation also for the evening events which enriched the event programme. On Friday evening the public applauded Tiberio Cosmin’s stand up comedy show, while on Saturday it was the turn of Gianluca Impastato’s comedy, protagonist of a finale capable of involving and entertaining the entire audience of the Serenè Village.

The event was closed by the words of the president of ASC Calabria Antonio Eraclini, who wanted to thank all the protagonists of the event:

Emotions and smiles, we don’t need anything else. Thanks again to everyone and long live sport and its values.

A shared thank you addressed to the instructors, technicians, participating companies, organizational staff, referees, security personnel and all those who contributed to the success of a tenth edition destined to leave an important mark and already relaunch our gaze towards the future.
