Gianmarco Tamberi has been eliminated from the high jump final at the Paris Olympics. There will be no medal for Gimbo. The Italian missed three times at 2.27 after struggling to clear 2.22 on his third attempt. Tamberi was in hospital just a few hours ago for renal colic. Last night, the 32-year-old from the Marche region had already woken up with excruciating pain. Always next to the Italian flag bearer at Paris 2024, his wife Chiara.
