The new Provincial Council of the Order of Labour Consultants of the province of Vibo Valentia was established on 2 August for the three-year period 2024-2027following the elections held on July 19, 2024 for the renewal of the Provincial Council and the Board of Auditors. The members of the Order were called to choose their territorial category managers, expressing a massive turnout in the vote. In the first inaugural session, the Council proceeded to the election of the institutional positions. For the Board of Auditors, Mario Laganà was elected President, with Giuseppe Grillo and Maria Romeo as members. The new Board, strong in the trust received from its members, is committed to continuing the work carried out in the previous three years, in the spirit of continuity with the results achieved, with the aim of further enhancing the profession of Labour Consultant, increasingly dynamic and strategic for the country and for local realities, encouraging innovation and ensuring support for professionals in our province, as protagonists in the management of complex relationships between the business system, workers and Public Administration.

President Francesco La Piana stated: “First of all, I would like to thank all my colleagues for the trust they have placed in me and for the massive expression of electoral consensus towards me. I consider it a great privilege and honor and an important acknowledgement of the work done to date. I thank the outgoing Councilors and the Auditor for their contribution to the recently concluded council term and, at the same time, I extend a warm welcome to the new Councilors, Antonella Crigna and Giuseppe Rubino, and to the new Auditor, Maria Romeo. I am certain that they will bring, together with the Councilors Claudia Barbuto and Maurizio Ippolito, and the Auditors Mario Laganà and Giuseppe Grillo, all reconfirmed, their maximum commitment and dedication during this new mandate. Together, we will be able to carry out important projects, working in a cohesive and united manner in the interest of the category of Labor Consultants and in the valorization of our profession. Our commitment will be constant in promoting ethical, legal and regular work, fundamental principles that must inspire all our actions. We will invest in the continuous training of members, diversifying the training offer, so that we can seize all the opportunities that come from our reference market and face future challenges, first of all the revolutionary one linked to the entry into the world of Artificial Intelligence professions, which represents a “key” tool at the service of our professional firms. This last aspect will be an indispensable element to maintain high competitiveness and professionalism of Labor Consultants. At the same time, we will encourage the exercise of all those functions and skills that the rules attribute, also through legal reservation, exclusively to Labor Consultants, from the Certification of Labor Contracts to ASSE.CO, from Active Labor Policies to Social Security Consulting, from the management of labor relationships to workplace safety and corporate welfare.

Another area of ​​interest, to which we are very attentive, will consist of the orientation activity for the profession of Labour Consultant in high schools and universities, to promote our profession, highlighting all the opportunities to young people, also in order to guarantee a solid future and growth for the entire category. Finally, we will work to continue to strengthen the institutional relationships and constant dialogue already in place in the territory with social security and insurance institutions such as INPS and INAIL, with the Revenue Agency, the Labour Inspectorate, the Chamber of Commerce, the Trade Associations, the Trade Unions and with all the Bodies and Institutions with which we can activate initiatives aimed at the world of work, companies and workers. These relationships are essential to best carry out our role as intermediaries and consultants”. The new Council, guided by these programmatic lines, is committed to working with dedication for the progress of the profession of Labour Consultant and the well-being of its members, precisely in the year in which the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of the Provincial Council of the Order of Labour Consultants of Vibo Valentia occurs.
