Independent accident, fortunately without consequences, this morning on the A20 in the Torre del Lauro area, in the Caronia area. The driver of a tanker for the transport of diesel coming from Palermo and proceeding towards Messina lost control of the vehicle and ended up against the guard rails at the beginning of the stretch where there has been two-way traffic for some time. The driver was uninjured, no other vehicles were involved.
Motorway transit is continuing to flow albeit with slowdowns, regulated by the men of the traffic police from the Sant’Agata Militello detachment who arrived on site. The CAS and road emergency teams are therefore working to remove the large vehicle and restore safety conditions.
