“We are the first in Calabria, in concert with the Municipality of Rende, to have approved the new sustainable urban development strategies that uses a loan of 21 million euros – said Franz Caruso- I am particularly satisfied because this is an important result, the result of a teamwork that has kept us engaged for several months of whom I thank the managing director, Francesco Alimena, the councilor for public works, Damiano Covelli, the councilor for Urban Pina Pina Incarnato, the LLPP manager, Salvatore Modesto and all the technicians. Period in which we planned the future of Cosenza and makes through a series of interventions that aim to redevelop areas particularly degraded but valuable in the city center, after having intervened, with the old urban agenda, especially in our historic center. We will now give life to a regeneration of places symbol of our historical/architectural and environmental heritagefrom the Nicholas Green park to Piazza Cappello, from Piazza Skanderbeg to the staircase of the two lions, from the fifth theater room of the Rendano theater to the primary school “Lidya Plastina Pizzuti” to the gym /auditorium of the Fausto Gullo school. These are targeted, concentrated and specific interventions, the result of choices that have taken into consideration the many stresses from the Cosenza. Furthermore, the small and medium -sized enterprises in particular those of the historic center of Cosenza, will again enjoy funding for the lost fund for the construction of entrepreneurial activities with the “Aid” program.
