The deputy from the South calls North, Matteo Sciottoformally requested a hearing at the VI Commission of the Sicilian Regional Assembly to shed light on the management of narcotic drugs in the emergency room of the “Giuseppe Fogliani” hospital in Milazzo. The request was addressed to the President of the Commission, Giuseppe Laccotofollowing a series of irregularities that emerged and which he asked for in previous questions.
“To date, the conclusion of the internal investigation, launched by the ASP following the complaints, has not yet been made known – he states. Sciotto who asked that the regional health councilor be heard in the Commission, Giovanna Volothe general manager for Strategic Planning, Salvatore Iacolinothe general director of the ASP of Messina, Giuseppe Cucciand the medical director of the “Giuseppe Fogliani” hospital, Nino Giallanza.
“This hearing is necessary to be certain about the correct management of narcotic drugs in the Milazzo emergency room and to identify any responsibilities,” concluded Sciotto. “The health of citizens cannot be left to chance, and we demand transparency and absolute rigor in such a delicate management.”
