Teo Mammucari’s journey in the second edition of. started from Fuscaldo, in the Cosentino area The Bewildered Onethe Rai 2 program that talks about the Italy of small villages in a light and ironic tone. The first stage saw him immerse himself in the daily life of the town, among curious challenges, meetings and local traditions.
The host confronted the irresistible – and very spicy – Calabrian ‘nduja, accepting the provocation of a local farmer, and tried to sell chilli pizzas in a bakery in the historic centre. He then discovered the ancient Occitan language, still alive in some communities in the area, and got involved in the legends of the fishermen and the protagonists of the traditional Festival of Fools.
As in every episode of the format, the stage ended with a comedy show in the town theatre, built on the stories and characters encountered during the stay.
In this new edition, Mammucari is not only looking for new ideas for his comedy, but also a place to feel at home, where – as he himself says – “life flows to the rhythm of the seasons and real people”.
