The electoral machine was set in motion. Yesterday morning all the material was transported from the atrium of Palazzo Zanca to the sections of the city and the packages and instruments provided were delivered to the polling chairmen. Three preliminary operations took place yesterday: the delivery of the material to the presidents, the delivery of the lists of voters authorized to vote at home, in places of treatment and in places of detention and the reconnaissance of the premises intended for electoral operations. There are 253 sections of the municipal territory, including the 9 special sections, while 188,540 voters are registered to vote in the Municipality of Messina.
