The sentence of life imprisonment for Annunziato Lerose, the 68 -year -old from San Nicola dell’Alto accused of the double murder of the breeders Francesco and Saverino Raffa, father and son of 59 and 33 years old, killed with shots of Caliber 12 2018 in the countryside of Pallagorio, became definitive. So the first section of the Cassation decided this evening. The Supreme Court, rejecting the appeal of the defense, confirmed the same maximum sentence decided by the Court of Assizes of Appeal of Catanzaro on April 18, 2024. As reconstructed by the carabinieri who conducted the investigations under the coordination of the Crotone Prosecutor’s Office, the assassination of the two breeders was a barbaric execution that would have been premeditated and implemented with meticulousness by Lerose, who even came to try to build a Alibi. But what could not know the 68 -year -old is that Saverino Raffa’s desperate scream – “Nunziato, are killing me” – was listened to by two hunters affected nearby who contacted the military of the weapon, reporting the name of the probable killer and allowing to trace the hypothesized author of the double crime of blood. But a detail did not escape the weapon. In San Nicola dell’Alto there was only one Annunziato, who would have nourished against the Raffa Rancori known in the small town of Crotone’s hinterland.
