The lawyer Carlo Autru Ryolo doesn’t want to be pulled by the jacket in the controversy of these days on the Messina union and on his person. And he wrote a note “in relation to the statements made via social media by the Honorable De Luca, and the subsequent interventions by other city political leaders, reported by the press”.
“Although my interest in politics is known – writes the well-known lawyer -, I have never proposed my candidacy nor have I had concrete discussions with exponents of the center right or other political groups. It is evident that if the proposal made by the Hon. Galluzzo of me as a candidate for the office of mayor were true, I would certainly be gratified both for the esteem towards the aforementioned politician and for my ideal closeness to the political area of reference of the Hon. Galluzzo. However, at state, I reiterate my intention to continue my professional activity, with the consequent impossibility of holding such an important public office. Lastly, I regret the use of my name by the Hon. De Luca, obviously in the context of political strategies unknown to me, with a confidence and familiarity (best wishes Carlo… I am rooting for Carlo) that never existed.”
