“While someone continues to evoke special laws or interinstitutional tables, and the Webuild company moves as if everything had already been decided – announcing thousands of hires and playing with the need and thirst for work of many people – yet another reality check arrives”, thus the Messina Provincial Secretary of the Democratic Party, Armando Hyerace, comments on the Court of Auditors’ request for referral to the collegiate body regarding the Cipess resolution for the ok at the Bridge over the Strait of Messina.
“The Court of Auditors once again stops the “green light” for the bridge over the Strait, pointing out technical, procedural and economic critical issues that can no longer be ignored. It is further confirmation that this project remains fragile, confused and far from being truly achievable. Stop chasing this chimera, selling illusions and using the bridge as a propaganda weapon. It’s time to face the real emergencies: stable work, services essential, mobility, and the infrastructures that Sicily and Messina really need”, concludes Hyerace.
