Arriving by regional train at the Reggio di Calabria Centrale station and reaching the “Tito Minniti” airport or the GOM – Grande Ospedale Metropolitano, becomes convenient and fast thanks to the new Link.
Born from the synergy between the Trenitalia Regional Railways (FS Group) and ATAM SpA, in agreement with the Calabria Region/ARTCal, the client of the railway service, the new connection will be active from 5 September 2024.
There are 55 connections scheduled on weekdays and 28 on holidays to reach the Reggio di Calabria Central Station from the Stretto Airport in about 15 minutes, with a frequency of about 30 minutes per trip. There are 58 bus trips on weekdays and 28 on holidays between the station and the GOM, with a journey time of about 20 minutes and a frequency of about 30 minutes per trip.
The train + bus solutions can be purchased on all Trenitalia channels by entering “REGGIO CALABRIA AEROPORTO BUS” or “REGGIO CALABRIA OSPEDALE GOM” as the departure or arrival destination.
The price of the ticket to reach the Reggio Calabria airport or the GOM hospital in Reggio Calabria by bus is €1.50, to be added to the price of the train ticket.
