The opening ceremony of the new Piazza De Nava will be held on Tuesday 3 December, at 7pm. One of the places in the heart of Reggio is about to be returned to the city with a new, modern look, functional to accommodate and facilitate the needs of the many tourists who want to visit the splendid National Archaeological Museum, custodian of the Riace Bronzes and the thousand-year history of Reggio and Magna Graecia.
But the new space will be, above all, a large and evocative space dedicated to people from Reggio, to families, to those who will return to frequent and experience a symbolic square that has accompanied the growth of many generations.

On 3 December at 7.00 pm, in the presence of the Mayor of Reggio Calabria, Giuseppe Falcomatà, the Director of the Calabria Regional Secretariat of the Ministry of Culture, Maria Mallemace, the Director of the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria, Fabrizio Sudano, and the highest city authorities , the new square will officially open to the public.

The ceremony will be accompanied by the presence of the opera choir and the Orchestra of the Cilea Theater of Reggio Calabria, directed by Maestro Bruno Tirotta.
