The verbal reassurances arrived by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are considered important but not yet sufficient to consider the case closed. That’s why dozens of mayors, already promoters of the South Recovery network, are mobilizing in these hours, signing a petition through which they ask not to touch the cohesion funds intended in the South to reinvest them in the rearm plan of the European Union.
Among the signatories so far they include the first citizen of Catanzaro, Nicola Fioritathat of Isola Capo Rizzuto, Maria Grazia Vittimbergaand that of Santa Domenica Talao, Alfredo Giuseppe Lucchesi.
