An area of 8000 square meters adjacent to a tourist village was seized by the soldiers of the Carabinieri Forestry Carabinieri of Cetraro in the “Macchia” of Guardia Piedmontese.
During a check – which took place in the presence of technical staff of the “Calabria Regional Directorate – Territorial Services of Cosenza” and with the Head of the Technical Office of the Piedmontese Municipality of Guardia – the presence of building artifacts of various kinds made without the necessary authorizations and in use to the tourist village.
A tank of water and a well had been built on a state property area adjacent to the village and currently in use to the same. Furthermore, A part of the area had been paved and showers had been built inside, installed furnishings such as benches, fountains and planters complete with an active lighting system.
The entire area was owned by the state state property and subjected to landscape constraints. We therefore proceeded, with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor of Paola, to the seizure of the portion of the state -owned land in use of the tourist structure and the referral to the same prosecutor of the administrator of the village for invasion of land and abusive building.
