The special Buk 2024 award goes to the writer Rosella Postorino from Reggio

AND' the Reggio writer Rosella Postorinofinalist at the Premio Strega 2023 with Mi limitation to love you (Feltrinelli), and first place at the Premio Campiello 2018 with Le gustotrici (Feltrinelli), the winner of the Buk 2024 special prizeawarded by the Festival of small and medium publishing scheduled in Modena on 4 and 5 May, «for the masterful ability to intertwine with vivid effectiveness and sensitive delicacy, History and stories or the context and human events, building a narrative both epic and intimate, capable of involving the reader without overwhelming him, of accompanying without overpowering, of enthralling his unforgettable characters in a very personal alchemy between demiurge and character, between writer and writing”.

The “bibliodiversity event”, founded and directed by Francesco Zarzana and now in its 17th edition, will propose meetings with authors from all over Italy in the setting of the Cloister of San Paolo, dedicated to new seasonal releases. Modena Buk Festival will, as always, be an observatory on the themes and trends of writing in our time, in particular this year on readings related to sustainability.
