Two local young people were reported by the State Police for violating the ban on access to public places, known as Daspo Willy, issued against them by the Quaestor of Vibo Valentia. The measure, adopted following serious episodes that had compromised public safety, imposed the ban on attending public and entertainment local businesses.
On Easter night, the two boys were surprised while trying to enter a room in the area, in violation of the imposed provisions. The restrictive measure had triggered after an episode of violence that took place on January 6, during an Epiphany party, when the group in which they were part had attacked the staff of a local area, arriving at a real beating.
The investigation of the case, curated by the anti -crime division of the Police Headquarters with the support of the Serra San Bruno police station, had led to the issue of the measure to prevent new episodes of violence in the places of youth nightlife.
The investigations conducted by the Judicial Police Team provided sufficient feedback to proceed with the criminal complaint for the two young people. Now they risk a prison sentence from one to three years and a fine that can go up to 24,000 euros.
