Tomorrow, Tuesday 14 October, starting from 9 am, in Tropea, in the headquarters of Palazzo Santa Chiara, the Monitoring Committee of the Psr Calabria 2014-2022 and the Monitoring Committee of the Psp-Csr Calabria 2023-2027 will be held.
Institutional greetings are expected from the President of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto, and from the Councilor for Agriculture, Gianluca Gallo.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, trade associations, professional associations, trade unions, local authorities, together with the regional managers of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department.
The meeting represents a moment of discussion of fundamental importance for the Agriculture and Rural Development department of the Calabria Region, the European Commission and all the stakeholders involved, aimed at taking stock of the state of implementation of the 2014-2022 Rural Development Programme, now nearing completion, and sharing the results and prospects of the new 2023-2027 programming within the CAP Strategic Plan (Psp-Csr).
The Monitoring Committee plays a central role in ensuring the transparency, participation and quality of public spending on rural development. Through discussions between institutions, economic and social partners, representatives of the agricultural world and civil society, the Committee contributes to orienting regional policies towards objectives of sustainability, innovation and competitiveness of the Calabrian agri-food sector.
