More than a candidate, he defines himself as an “aspiring mayor”. And its objectives are two: “breaking the mold of traditional politics” and “giving power back to citizens”. Lillo Valvieri, a barber by profession, is no stranger to adventurous public initiatives, nor does the thought of having to face them alone seem to scare him. He certainly doesn’t want to be taken seriously, not even as a candidate for mayor. Indeed, as he claims, “first mayoral candidate” of the next elections, whatever date they will be, because, to be honest, he announced his entry into the field even before the “Basile bis” was made official by Cateno De Luca. Valvieri loves to expose himself, without paying too much attention to the reactions. He wrote a book, “The Tales of a Distracted Barber”, was spokesperson for an association, “Le Vetrine di Via Garibaldi”, and in 2022 he attempted his first political excursions: first launching himself as a candidate for the presidency of the fourth district and collecting just over 300 preferences, then even trying at the Regionals, with the 5 Star Movement list, stopping at just a hundred votes.
