The Ministry of Tourism has allocated 10 million 993 thousand 613 euros, within the PSC/Fund funds falling within the Montagna Italy project, in favor of the tourist enhancement, the strengthening of infrastructure and the sustainable use of the mountainous territories of Calabria.
The almost 11 million resources, in the form of the contribution to the lost fund, were directed to the realization of 6 projects presented by private and non -profit private subjects, with reward preference for those organized on the net or grouped:
“Easy Mountain”, which proposes to encourage sustainable tourism and digital innovation, with technological tools for operators and end users;
“Next Stop: Pollino. Tourist e-tosystem of the largest National Park in Italy”, with the dual objective of raising the competitive capacity of companies and promoting a tourist offer based on environmental sustainability, innovation and digitalization of services;
The “Sila Cor Dream – Project for the Mountain”, which, starting from the needs and context of the territory, provides for the creation of a series of services capable of qualifying, potential and diversifying the tourist offer of the mountain territory of Corigliano Rossano;
the strategic plan “Le Montagne del Sole”, aimed at building a new organic tourist product in the name of territory, community, sustainability and experiential authenticity;
the “High Wellness – South Italy” initiative, for the relaunch of regional mountain tourism, through infrastructure adjustments, creation and promotion of sustainable tourist products and creation of a cooperation network system between operators;
The initiative for the enhancement of the mountain area of Locride, through the development of the material and immaterial heritage and the naturalistic assets of the area.
The Italian mountain, from north to south, constitutes a real wealth for the entire peninsula. From here, the Ministry of Tourism has identified the need to prepare an organic and structural corpus of funding capable of encouraging promotion and enhancement of a treasure which, if adequately put to the system, can bring important benefits to the tourist industry and the economy of Italy.
